📖 What is Grama Sabha?
The Gram Sabha consists of all persons registered in the electoral roll relating to a village comprised within the area of a Grama Panchayat.
A voter in a ward is a member of the Gram Sabha or Ward Sabha of that ward. Gram Sabha and Ward Sabha are the most vital democratic forums that convey the opinions, needs, and development proposals of the people to the administrative system.

📢 Convening Meetings
The responsibility of convening the meeting rests with the Ward Member.
👥 Quorum
- 10 percent of the total voters.
- For an adjourned meeting due to lack of quorum, 50 members will be considered as the quorum.
📝 Special Meeting
If requested in writing by not less than 10 percent of voters in a ward, a special Gram Sabha / Ward Sabha must be convened within 15 days.
